5 Tips For Planning A Fantastic Bachelorette Party

Posted on: 11 February 2016

A bachelorette party is a fun event where a bride gets to let loose with the closest women in her life before her wedding. Typically, a bachelorette party is less formal than a bridal shower and does not have as many guests attend. If you're a bridesmaid or the maid of honor for a bride-to-be, use the following tips to plan an amazing bachelorette party:

Get the Guest List from the Bride

The bride is typically hands-off when it comes to planning a bachelorette party, but it is a good idea to check with her for the guest list. this will ensure that everyone that she wants at the party is invited and no one is left out.

Keeps the Bride's Interests in Mind

When it comes to planning a bachelorette party, the focus should be on the bride's interests, not your own. If the bride isn't a big fan of dancing, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to plan a night around going to dance clubs. Think about what the bride likes before making any definitive plans.

Have a Written Itinerary

A written itinerary can be very useful for all guests invited to the bachelorette party. It will let everyone know what the plan is for the event, and where they need to be. This can be especially important if you're planning an out of town bachelorette party where there may be a few days of different activities celebrating the bride. You can either send the itinerary with the invitations, or email them out to the guests who have indicated that they are able to attend the party.

Arrange Transportation in Advance

Bachelorette parties often involve cocktails or champagne toasts, so it is always nice to have a transportation plan in place in advance. Since this is a festive event, you can make the party more special by arranging for a limousine service for everyone or rent a great party bus if a lot of guests are attending. Renting a limo or party bus will also make it much easier for all of the guests to get from point A to point B without having to worry about driving, parking, or arranging for a designated driver.

Make Sure to Take a Lot of Photos

A bachelorette party is something that a bride-to-be will want to remember for a long time, so make sure that a lot of photos of the festivities are taken. You may want to consider asking one person to be in charge of taking as many photos as possible to ensure that no special moments are missed.
